The era of a rockstar

When he was around the age of 17, Soka and four of his best friends got together to form a band together. Soka was their front man and singer. Kaoru, Soka's best friend from his childhood was his lead guitarist. Shar, a boy who was a couple years older than the others, was the drummer. Kiko played on the keys, while Toga, who had been secretly dating Kiko, played bass. Together, they formed the rock band known in Kugane as St☆rf☆ll.The kids weren't all that great when they started out, as most bands are. But, the more they played together and practiced, the more they started getting recognized and booked in venues. The biggest venue they played at was an underground vampire aesthetic goth bar, the Black Iris. It is around this time that Soka had picked up his stage name, Sunshine Lunaris, because of his affinity of having bright orange hair that looked like a sunshine while playing in a place where the themes were dark and macabre.Once the band had started picking up popularity, they had started really picking up fans who would be at every show. Determined to not let the fame go to his head with all of his fans, Soka would notoriously turn down any offers for more than just a fawning fan who wanted to have a chance at sleeping with the young singer. He was determined to not be that kind of man. It was no secret among the band that Soka preferred the company of men, but, during those times, he had been forced to suppress his sexuality for fear of being exiled from Kugane.Nearly four years into the band being together, Soka had eventually settled down and gotten married. He had met a lovely miqo'te woman after a show and had hit it off. They dated half a turn before they married one another. All certainly seemed well with one another. He was able to continue performing and doing what he loved while his new wife stayed home with their triplet children-- two girls and one boy. Everything was absolutely perfect and he couldn't ask for anything better.That is until one fateful day when Soka had been visiting his mother with his son, Damien, tragedy struck the Arashi household. His loving wife had fallen asleep by the girls' crib and had left a candle burning. Gravity tipped the burning stick over to the floor, igniting a curtain ablaze. Fire overtook the house in a matter of minutes.By the time Soka had gotten home, the fire was so bad, there was nothing he could do. He could hear the screams and cries within the blaze, while being absolutely helpless to saving his family. The loss of his wife and twin girls was the start of the downward spiral that nearly took his life as well.
